every food that we eat should come from Organic Farming. i really get scared about those toxins coming from chemical fertilizers and chemical pesticides. I only eat foods which are certified that they are organically grown

You have absolutely hit the nail on the head! When we sacrifice the quality, especially of our food, in order to eat cheap, nutrient-deficient, pesticide-laden food, we all suffer! Not only is our health affected, but the commercial growing industry is supported in their harmful growing techniques. I think if more people realized the immense benefits of growing their own organic foods, and learned how manageable it really is, even for people who don't naturally have green thumbs, they would jump off the commercial, mass-produced food treadmill, and onto a MUCH healthier lifestyle where they themselves are in control of what they put in their bodies!

Dear Janta and Merav,
I just happend onto this page. I love the bit you wrote! You are good writers absolutely. I like how you explain so clearly the what and why of Karuna. I have been there,I know what it is like. But reading about it gives me a deeper dimension of understanding and connection. Reading the piece gives me a warm feeling in my heart.
Thanks for your courage.
May things go well for you and the land!

some comments for the no.9 little house.

this little house is indeed very nice, but unfortunately it was never finished. it was left there unfinished without the external waterproof plaster, so during the one year it exists it melts slowly back to the ground. there is also another matter, the roof was covered with 'pure' concrete, as far as i have seen. i asked why and i was told that the workshop was finished and the house should not stay without a roof, so they put concrete on the roof.

unfortunately it is also not being used.

lastly, i think building a cob house is a team work , so it is an infelicity that there is a single name there shown as the builder of the house.

thank you
